The Hudaki Village Band is planning to record a new CD this year, its sixth: more songs from the tradition of our region, the Ukrainian Maramorosh. There will also be some songs from Jewish and Roma traditions. We will be travelling to our friends in Holland in June for the recordings, where we have found ideal conditions near Groningen.
In order to pre-finance this production, we are starting a collection with the aim of raising €10,000 by May. We have decided to carry out the collection on our own and without the mediation of a crowdfunding website, but still with maximum transparency.
Every donation will be noted on our website, either by name or anonymously, depending on your preference. It is possible to purchase the CD signed on request for an amount starting from €25 in advance. For amounts of €50 or more, you will also receive a signed poster or a T-shirt with our banner.
If you would like to book Hudaki for a house concert and support the CD production in this way, you can do so for an amount to be agreed separately.
